THE "MISSING"

Tens of thousands of those who died as a result of war have no known grave.  This could be because their last resting place can no longer be identified as land was fought over many times, or because they were never found.  There are many thousands of men who could not be identified but who are buried in appropriately marked graves.

All of those with no known grave are commemorated on a memorial to the missing.  Men of Cullompton are remembered on the following memorials:
